What is a PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment?

It’s a detailed assessment required before any coordinated or funded energy-efficiency upgrades. It includes an Occupancy Assessment, Condition Survey, and Energy Assessment.

How long does a retrofit assessment take?

Typically 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on property size and complexity.

Do I need an EPC before a retrofit assessment?

No — the energy assessment includes all required data.

Is a retrofit assessment required for ECO4 or GBIS?

Yes — it’s mandatory for all funded retrofit work.

From £75 (or £70 for Brentwood).

How much does a Retrofit Assessment cost?

From £195.

No — all pricing is transparent. A small travel fee may apply for out-of-area locations, always confirmed upfront.

How do I book an assessment?

Someone must be present to provide access, but you don’t need to stay for the full survey.
